producing exhibition stands across Finland. Duties
included, installing LED screens, building Aluvision
exhibition stands, vinyl graphics application. AV
set up. - * This work would have continued if it
wasn’t for the Covid pandemic; the events
industry, like many others, was hit very badly and
Booth Group never re-opened.

Freelancer
Events Manager Working closely with producers,
technical teams and venues delivering corporate
events. Duties included: Client & venue meetings,
steward hiring and training, event logistics, safely
managing large groups of the public. One ongoing
project was music curation for London’s King
Cross weekly canopy market; this involved
sourcing, booking, and contracting bands and
artists. Events managed: Greenwich and
Docklands Festival, Green Man Festival, Stella
McCartney Sports Collection Launch, BBC
Question Time, Fiat 500 UK Launch, and Vauxhall
One Film Screenings, London.
Events / Theatre Crew Member Working with a
number of producers and venues across the UK
delivering theatre and world-class events. Duties
included: working as part of a team constructing
event & theatre sets, building escape rooms &
exhibition stands also rigging lighting and sound
equipment. Some events worked on: 2014

theatre performance promotional material,

July 2011 – July 2013 Customer Services
Manager Southwark Playhouse, London.
Responsible for the daily delivery of all front-of-house
services in a busy two-theatre space
receiving house. Including overseeing reception/
box office, bar, and stewards. Duties included: line
managing duty managers and FoH staff, co-
ordinating a team of 50+ volunteers, bar budget
management, stock selection, and control,
timesheet management and box office sales.
January 2003 – May 2011 Front of House & Bar
Manager Trinity Laban, London. Responsible for
setting up bar and front-of-house systems, writing
box office, bar and usher job descriptions, hiring
and training of all front of house staff and liaising
with incoming companies/artists and hires. Also
running high-profile VIP events and evening
performances. I was the venue’s licensee for the
retail of alcohol and covered all health and safety
elements of front-of-house management, including
risk assessments, fire drills, and evacuation
training.
December 1999 – January 2003 Front of House
Assistant [on to] Front of House Manager The
Drill Hall Theatre, London. Responsible for the
hiring and training of the bar and ushering staff,
stock ordering and the day-to-day running of a
busy arts venue.
June 1993 – December 1999 Sales Assistant [on
to] senior Sales Assistant London Graphic
Centre, London - Duties included customer
service, telephone, and mail order inquiries,
handling cash, ordering art and graphic supplies,
key holding as well as duty managing.
